About us

Growing up hunting and shooting from the swamps of Southern Florida to the hills of Southern Missouri,  Whisnant Arms Owner Cody Whisnant, almost instinctively developed a knowledge and appreciation for all things that go “BOOM” beginning at a young age. What started as a hobby, with a few items from his personal collection set up in the corner of his auto parts store, quickly turned business opportunity when Cody realized that he could put his firearms savvy to use helping others pursue his shared passion for shooting sports. Whisnant Arms was established in 2019 by Cody and his wife, Madison, in hopes that they could serve their community and surrounding areas in providing an honest and knowledgeable place to shop locally for guns and ammo.
